Learn the fundamental technique of the forehand and the backhand.

Learn the “Chess” game of Pickleball. We’ll cover the “how” and “when” to dink to certain targets.

Learn how to drop the ball to allow you and your partner approach the NVZ with a purpose.

Learn how to take the pace off the ball to allow you and your partner to gain ground back.

Learn the how and when to serve to a target, and return with a purpose.

You’ve learned the shots. Now let’s make them consistent. We will test 25 targeted reps of each of the shots. Once we have a baseline percentage, we will drill for several weeks, and test again. Your progress will be measurable over time. Remember: “Practice makes permanent”; “Perfect practice makes Progress”. It’s a journey!

You’ve learned the technique. Now it’s time to apply it. Bring a partner and learn the tactics of the game. Tom will focus on points and rallies, not games. We will set up certain common scenarios and you will practice with your partner on how to develop a rally. Learn to make the rally predictable for you and your partner, such as when to drive or drop, how to cover the middle, and much much more.
